It is optimal for patients to arrive 1 or 2 days before their procedure for an evaluation appointment, as well as to meet and discuss the upcoming process with your doctor of orthopedics. Our staff will communicate with any at-home doctors for MRIs, X-Rays, or other imaging that would make an evaluation as easy as possible. We can also help you in arranging for in-house nurse services during your recovery period in New York.
Your physician and our international administration are devoted to making you feel confident in your procedure and ensure the best possible recovery. Your orthopedic doctor will be available to call for any questions or concerns you may have before and after your surgery. Interpreters and staff will make sure you and your loved ones feel comfortable and stay informed of every part of the surgical and rehabilitation process.
We will take care of any immediate prescriptions or therapeutic care needed post-operatively. We can schedule a regimen at the All Sports Physical Therapy clinics in each of our offices to help your recovery, depending on how long your stay in New York will be. Your physician will also provide you with the best possible medical advice to follow once you are home, and will still be available to contact with any concerns even after your stay.
At NY Bone and Joint Specialists, we understand that many international patients come to our surgeons, not only for their renowned skills, but to receive the care they need as quickly as possible. All arrangements can be made by our staff in a very short time.
Our international patients are of utmost priority, so you can be sure your evaluation, surgery, and follow up appointments will be scheduled as soon as you arrive. Our staff is also experienced in dealing with billing and insurance processes, allowing you and your loved ones to concentrate on your health, while we take care of the rest.
